We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join the team at ENABLE BUSINESS. In this full-time role based at Northpoint, Mid Valley, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration and compliance.
Take full ownership of end-to-end payroll processing for Singapore and Malaysia clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery with minimal supervision.
Ensure all payroll data is processed accurately and on schedule in accordance with established timelines and statutory requirements.
Adhere to all payroll-related compliance, controls, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
Handle and resolve payroll issues, discrepancies, and queries promptly and professionally.
Statutory Reporting & Filing, Prepare and submit statutory filings such as CPF, IRAS submissions (IR8A/IR21), SDL, SHG funds, SOCSO, EPF, EIS, HRDF, PCB, and other mandatory contributions.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams and key business partners/ client.
Be accountable for payroll accuracy, timelines, and proactive issue resolution, including identifying risks and recommending solutions.
Act as a back up to the other team members to deliver and manage clients’ expectations as and when required.
Participate in regular calls/meetings with clients to review payroll performance and address open items.
Provide expert payroll advisory for SG & MY clients.
Maintain and update payroll procedures and documentations.
Support the HOD and Project Team with new client onboard, transitions/implementations, including data collection, reviews, testing, and go-live activities.
Work in collaboration with other team members to establish and maintain a confidential and sensitive work environment.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant payroll or accounting qualifications are highly desirable
