Job summary

Bossard (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Business Development Engineer/Manager (Outside Sales) to drive new business across Penang and Peninsular Malaysia, with options in Puchong or Simpang Ampat.

You will identify opportunities, present solutions, and close deals with key clients. You will build relationships, manage a territory, collaborate with the sales team, and report on pipeline and revenue forecasts. The role offers competitive compensation with base salary plus commissions and benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a sales or account management role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Engaging potential clients through cold calling, networking and other lead generation activities.
• Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase value.
• Negotiating and closing sales contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining and developing existing client relationships to drive repeat business.
• Collaborating with the sales team to share best practices and contribute to sales strategy.
• Providing timely reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
