Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH is seeking a seasoned Finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on cash application and inter-company reconciliations within an SSC/BPO environment.

You will collaborate with local teams, prepare statements, monitor overdue invoices, perform monthly closings, and maintain master data across ERP systems including iScala, while delivering data-driven insights with Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years in an Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, or Finance role in SSC/BPO.
• Experience with iScala and Power BI is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and ticketing tools (ServiceNow).
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash, master data, and related processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented with high data accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations within area of responsibility.
• Ensure accurate cash application and inter-company wire transfers booking.
• Collaborate with local team to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute account statements and collection letters.
• Process customer write-offs and refunds with precision.
• Enter complaints into the system and oversee timely resolution.
• Monitor overdue invoices and escalate unresolved accounts.
• Perform monthly financial reconciliations and analytical reports.
• Maintain master data in ERP systems and conduct data cleansing.
