Job summary

Jobtailor in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst to support intercompany accounting, month-end closing, and supplier reconciliations in a multinational setup. You will handle cash pooling, GRNI, and balance sheet reconciliations for Ireland and Japan entities, while maintaining strong controls and accuracy.

The role requires solid Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workload with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Finance graduate
• Experience using JDE or Oracle
• Experience in finance supporting month end closing
• Knowledge of business finance processes and internal controls
• Ability to manage workload to ensure effective control and management of pooling balances, GRNI and complete transaction processing
• Ability to meet deadlines & prioritise, particularly at month end, and influence colleagues who impact the finance processes
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow up and resolve supplier queries
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel
• Methodical and proactive approach to work

Responsibilities

• Posting cash pooling and associated journals
• Agree balances with intercompany entities
• Assisting with Intercompany postings for our parent company in Japan
• Supporting with AP activities for our Ireland entity

• Raising Intercompany recharges
• Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations
• Verifying master data on external suppliers
• Adhoc payments to suppliers as necessary

• Assisting with Intercompany postings for our parent company in Japan
• Supporting with AP activities for our Ireland entity
• GRNI reconciliation and investigation of balances
• Raising Intercompany recharges
