Job summary

Körber AG in Malaysia is seeking an Order Processing Manager to lead commercial order processing for capital goods, coordinating complex sales projects from offer to delivery. You will be the main contact for customers worldwide, especially in Asia, handling inquiries and scheduling orders and deliveries.

The role requires SAP proficiency, and strong project management. Travel domestically and abroad is expected, with collaboration across Sales, Account Management and our German HQ.

Qualifications

• Degree/Bachelor/MBA in Business Administration or similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in order processing for capital goods.
• Experience in worldwide logistics (Import/Export and Shipping).
• Able to travel locally and overseas.
• Good knowledge in SAP.
• Profound project management skills.
• Good command in English; German and regional language are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commercial order processing and coordination of complex machine sales projects through offer, order and delivery.
• Serve as primary point of communication to customers worldwide (focus on Asia) for order processing.
• Attend to customer inquiries and coordinate order and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and coordinate customer visits (e.g. pre-delivery inspections).
• Coordinate with Sales, Account Manager, and German HQ across departments.
• Oversee commercial aspects of order processing including L/C and tender shipments.
• Plan and coordinate machine shipments.
• Maintain order-related information in SAP and create documents.
• Verify contract documents; participate in financing models.
• Coordinate inter-company sales order processing within the group.
• Dotted line reporting and integration with OPM organization at Germany HQ.

Order Processing Manager

Your role in our team:

• Commercial order processing and co-ordination of complex machine sales projects throughout stages of offer, order and delivery
• Primary point of communication towards customers worldwide (with focus on Asian region) for all matters related to the order processing
• Attend to customers inquiries, co-ordinate and follow-up on customers' order and delivery schedule
• Prepare and co-ordinate customer visits (e.g. for pre-delivery inspections)
• Close co-ordination and communication with colleagues from various departments, the Sales and Account Manager in charge as well as the German HQ
• Co-ordination of all commercial aspects of the order processing including L/C and tender shipments
• Planning and co-ordination of machine shipments
• Maintenance of relevant order related information in SAP ERP system and creation of respective documents
• Verification of contract documents, involvement in financing models
• Coordination and Order processing of inter-company sales within the group throughout the stages of offer, order and delivery
• Dotted line reporting and integration with OPM organization in our Germany HQ

Your profile:

• Degree/Bachelor/MBA in Business Administration or similar field
• More than 3 years of working experience in relevant order processing for capital goods
• Experience in worldwide logistics (Import/Export and Shipping background)
• Able to travel locally and overseas
• Good knowledge in SAP
• Profound project management skills
• Good command in English, German and regional language would be an advantage
• Able to work independently and under time pressure
• High sense of responsibility
