About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Operator & Warehouse Manufacturing to join our team at AYA Real Food Sdn. Bhd. in Taiping, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of production activities and warehouse management, directly contributing to our company's ability to deliver quality products to our customers on schedule. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met and products are manufactured to specification
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors
• Receive, store, and organise raw materials and finished products in the warehouse using appropriate storage systems
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure warehouse accuracy
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to orders and specifications
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and competently
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and delivery deadlines
• Report any safety hazards, near-misses, or incidents to management immediately

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a manufacturing operator or in warehouse operations
• Ability to operate manufacturing machinery and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move items regularly, as the role involves manual handling
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record-keeping and inventory management
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification for forklift operation or other relevant equipment (preferred)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (advantageous given our industry)
• Flexibility to work shifts if required
