Job summary

Union Harvest (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Operations and Production Operator for our Port Klang facility in Selangor. The role involves monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes to uphold quality, safety, and productivity standards on a full-time basis.

You will operate production machinery, conduct routine checks, document data, and collaborate with supervisors to meet targets while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment following procedures and safety rules.
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production output and quality, document data and report deviations.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure consistency and policy compliance.
• Assist with material handling and inventory tasks daily and weekly.
• Record production metrics and complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Support loading/unloading and supervise manual hopper bagging as needed.

About the role

Union Harvest (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Operations and Production Operator to join our team at our Port Klang facility in Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production facilities. As an Operations and Production Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimising our manufacturing processes to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This role is integral to our operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver excellence to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols
• Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues
• Monitor production output and quality standards, documenting data and reporting any deviations or concerns
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and adherence to company policies
• Monitor the general workers at the mixer plant ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members and supervisory staff to meet production targets and deadlines
• Record production metrics and complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly
• To assist with material handling and inventory management daily and weekly
• To assist on operations tasks i.e.; loading/unloading lorries/container and to supervise on manual hopper bagging
• To carry out any other related duties/ ad-­hoc task assigned by superior

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working as a machine operator or in a similar production role within a manufacturing environment at least 1year.
• Strong understanding of machinery operation, including the ability to interpret technical specifications and instructions, basic repairs including welding and cutting.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to monitor multiple processes and maintain accuracy
• Solid knowledge of health and safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-­paced environment
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and work in standing or varying positions for extended periods
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
• Problem-­solving mindset with the ability to identify and address operational issues efficiently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
• Relevant certifications or training in machinery operation or manufacturing processes are advantageous
