Job summary

PENTAS FLORA is a leading scheduled waste management company focused on sustainable resource recovery in Malaysia. The operation supervisor will assist engineers to ensure smooth plant operations, load/unload materials, and manage oils and wastes with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical with strong technical background.
• Details, specific and hands-on in approach with good analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and under tight schedule.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers to ensure smooth operation, loading/unloading materials, oils and wastes.
• Perform frequent safety and quality observations in the field and report findings.
• Monitor plant parameters via field and HMI; ensure checklists/forms are completed.
• Supervise production workers to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Monitor and minimize plant upsets; ensure operation aligns with standards.
• Collaborate with floor workers/technicians on operational matters.
• Ensure Company Standards are followed and maintain maintenance, cleanliness, and environmental measures.
• Maintain historical trends of production systems and inform superior of instability.
