Job summary

The operation supervisor will assist engineers to ensure smooth plant operations, load/unload materials, and manage oils and wastes with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical with strong technical background.
• Details, specific and hands-on in approach with good analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and under tight schedule.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers to ensure smooth operation, loading/unloading materials, oils and wastes.
• Perform frequent safety and quality observations in the field and report findings.
• Monitor plant parameters via field and HMI; ensure checklists/forms are completed.
• Supervise production workers to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Monitor and minimize plant upsets; ensure operation aligns with standards.
• Collaborate with floor workers/technicians on operational matters.
• Ensure Company Standards are followed and maintain maintenance, cleanliness, and environmental measures.
• Maintain historical trends of production systems and inform superior of instability.

Job description

As the operation supervisor, the primary role is to assist engineer in ensuring operation running well,loading and unloading materials, oil and wastes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform frequent safety and quality observations in the field and report findings

Monitors and log the operating parameters of the plant through field and HMI, to ensure all checklist and forms are filled up completely and precisely, as stipulated by the Superior

To monitor and supervise the production workers and to ensure continuing quality performance and work efficiency.

Monitor the correct operations of all plant and equipment reducing and controlling plant upsets

Maintain process quality within the current Company and / or local guidelines

Work closely with floor workers/ Technicians on all matters related to operation

Ensure that Company Standards are followed

To assist in monitoring and updating work progress as when required, meanwhile to ensure good maintenance, upkeep and safety of plant, machinery and equipment; and cleanliness/ environmental protection measures of the premises.

Maintain historical trends of Production systems and immediately inform superior when the system is unstable or malfunctioning.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical fields with strong technical background.

At least 3 years of working experience in the processing industries; manufacturing, oil & gas, chemicals or petrochemical fields.

Details, specific and hands-on in approach with good analytical skills.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and work under pressure under tight schedule.

Able to work with minimum supervision.
