Job summary

Pentas Flora is seeking a Head of Logistics in Malaysia to oversee and lead the logistics team, including drivers and support staff, ensuring efficient and compliant operations. You will manage fleet maintenance, drive cost efficiency, and uphold HSE and DOE standards, while reporting on performance and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics/Transportation or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in petrochemical, oil and gas, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, route planning, and transport regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of drivers and support staff.
• Develop and implement proactive plans for maintenance and servicing of trucks and equipment.
• Establish and drive cost efficiency by budgeting and monitoring expenses.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE and DOE requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture with audits and safety standards.
• Prepare monthly performance reports on logistics, costs and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Monitor route planning and delivery schedules to improve efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation for licenses, permits and vehicle records.
• Track fuel usage, driver performance, and fleet utilization.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
