Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee resources, drive output and quality targets, and coach operators in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Penang, Malaysia.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, and 0–6 years of manufacturing experience, with 0–3 years in operations. Leadership and familiarity with QC/SGA activities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline is required.
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• 0–6 years' total work experience; 0–3 years in manufacturing operations in a high paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage resources to achieve production targets, quality, yield, output and cost goals.
• Manage the performance, motivation and satisfaction of the production team and processes to meet quality and efficiency metrics.
• Prepare and review daily production reports and track progress toward targets.
• Lead the team to drive continuous productivity and 5S/discipline/quality improvements through QCC/SGA initiatives.
• Address line issues promptly and provide feedback to resolve abnormalities.
• Ensure operators comply with specifications and company policies.
• Coordinate cross-functional Tier2 meetings to align on priorities.
• Evaluate line employees' monthly performance and encourage improvement.
• Coach and train line personnel to enhance performance.

Job description

• Do shift production plan and set goal for each insertion based on weekly commitment goal;
• Prepare and review daily production report;
• Leading team to do continues productivity and 5s/discipline/quality improvement through QCC/SGA team;
• Solving and feedback line abnormal issues appropriately;
• Ensure operators to work complying spec and company policy;
• Coordinate to hold cross function team Tier2 meeting successfully;
• Rating line employees' monthly performance fairly and encourage people do better;
• Coaching and training line people to improve their performance better;

Job Requirement:-

• -Education: Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• -Language: Good oral and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• -Experience: 0~6 years' work experience including 0~3 years' manufacturing operation expertise experience in a high paced environment.

• With strong leadership, have experience or potential on People management, Able to supervise Engineering Assistants and Operators.
• Independent, resourceful and takes initiative, able to cooperation with other department
• Project management skills & familiar with office tools.
• Knowledge of statistical process control.
• Computer knowledge especially on Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point.
• Possess leadership quality, independent and mature disposition.
