Job summary

GT MART Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple retail and e‑commerce outlets, focusing on sales performance, cost control, SOP compliance, and inventory management. 1. Sales Performance and Operations Standard

Monitor and evaluate outlet sales performance, including sales, operating expenses, profit margins, and profit & loss (P&L), to identify improvement opportunities

Ensure all outlets follow consistent operational standards, including company policies, SOPs, planograms, marketing promotions, pricing, and inventory management

2. Coach and develop a motivated sales team

Lead the entire Operations team through effective manpower planning, talent development, performance management, and continuous training to build a high-performing and motivated workforce.

To develop and ensure consistent operational standards across all outlets through strict SOP compliance, regular monitoring, effective training, and continuous improvement.

3. Financial Management, Budgeting & Reporting

Budget Planning & Management: Develop, plan, and manage budgets for each outlet, ensuring effective cost control, financial accountability, and profitability.

Wastage & Shrinkage Control: Develop, implement, and enforce effective measures to minimize wastage, stock shrinkage, and operational losses while maximizing resource utilization and

Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare and review regular financial and operational performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, strengthen cost management, and drive overall business profitability.

4. Outlet Network Expansion

Proactively identify and pursue strategic outlet expansion opportunities to strengthen market presence, increase business coverage, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the operations management, preferably in FMCG or similar industry.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or any related field.

Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership skills to cultivate a strong culture within the team and company

Ability to manage tasks efficiently, and able to delegate tasks to achieve company goals.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.

Required Language(s) : English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (Interaction with Mandarin-Speaking Suppliers)
