GT MART Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations in Penang, aligning people strategy with business goals and ensuring compliant workforce practices. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, HRDF coordination, and employee welfare while championing engagement and culture in a fast-moving retail environment.

• Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience with at least 2 years in a related role.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, both verbal and written due to regular communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967
• Strong leadership, task management, and delegation skills
• Ability to drive execution effectively
• Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with care

About you
