Job summary

DHL Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites motivated interns for a six-month Operations: Customs Clearance internship in Penang. The program emphasizes hands-on experience in tariff classification, customs documentation, and HS code assignment, under guided mentorship.

Ideal candidates are final-year or near-graduate students in Operations/Logistics, with CGPA 3.0+, excellent English, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Operations/Logistics or related field.
• CGPA of 3.00 or above.
• Preferably a final-year student.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication skills and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform customs clearance scope of tariff classification and draft of Customs forms with guidance.
• Send arrival notification to all required customers.
• Print and attach the customs documents for assessments; assign HS Code for shipments.
• Support validation of classification with reference to Customs tariff and invoice records.
• Maintain consistent follow-up to meet service level agreements (SLA).
