Job summary

DHL Express Malaysia invites applications for a six-month Internship in Operations: Customs Clearance in Johor. This program offers hands-on experience with tariff classification, draft of customs forms, and HS code assignment, under mentoring in a global logistics leader.

You will support clearance tasks, validate classifications against JKDM tariffs, and ensure follow-up to meet SLA. Ideal candidates are final-year undergraduates in related fields with CGPA 3.0+, strong MS Office skills, and

Qualifications

Current bachelor-level student in Operations Management, Transportation & Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Customs & Trade Compliance.
CGPA 3.0 or higher is required.
Preferably a final-year student.

Responsibilities

Perform customs clearance scope of tariff classification and draft of Customs forms with guidance.
Send arrival notifications to required customers and handle printing/attachment of customs documents for assessments.
Assign HS Code for shipments and validate classifications with JKDM tariffs and related records.
Support validation of classifications against commercial invoices and internal exemptions database.
Maintain consistent follow-up to meet SLA.
