Job summary

Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd – Nusajaya, Johor is seeking an Operations Executive – Trucking to coordinate trucking operations, plan routes, and track cargo to ensure timely deliveries.

You will handle customs declarations, prepare and submit documentation, and liaise with drivers, trucking companies, and customers to ensure smooth shipments and compliance.

Qualifications

• Coordinate trucking operations including scheduling and route planning.
• Prepare, review and submit customs documents such as invoices and packing lists.
• Liaise with drivers, trucking companies and customers to ensure smooth pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor shipments and update clients and internal teams on status of deliveries and customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with import/export laws, tariffs and duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage trucking operations, including scheduling, route planning, and tracking cargo.
• Handle the complete process of customs declarations, ensuring all required documentation is prepared, submitted, and compliant with customs regulations.
• Liaise with drivers, trucking companies, and customers to ensure smooth cargo pickup and delivery.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation such as invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and other required paperwork.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of customs clearance paperwork, avoiding delays in shipment processing.
• Monitor and track shipments, updating clients and internal teams on the status of deliveries and customs clearance.
• Resolve any issues related to trucking, customs, or cargo delays, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including import/export laws, tariffs, and duties.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners, including customs brokers, to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain records of all trucking and customs declaration activities, ensuring all documents are properly filed for audit and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, customs regulations, and best practices in freight forwarding and logistics.
