Job summary

Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a Sea Freight Operations Executive who will handle documentation, declarations and end-to-end processes for sea shipments. The role requires coordinating with service teams, carriers and government agencies to meet SOP standards and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of sea freight experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced freight

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in sea freight process (mandatory).
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer service team’s inquiries and ensure to comply with operation procedures.
• Handle necessary documentation for Sea Freight Shipments.
• Coordinate with customer service team, co-loader, carriers, terminal operators, warehouse team, and transportation team for the collection of cargos.
• Ensures SOP alignment to customer expectations and company's agreed standards of performance.
• Attending to Customs and other Government Agencies (OGA) enquires
• To ensure timely and accurate handling of all tradenet declarations and submissions.
• Report to immediate superior and liaison with terminal operator to provide survey report on non-conformity of cargos when detected.
• To ensure cost capturing is completed timely and files are closed correctly within a given timeframe.
• Monitor all sea freight shipments and any other related records has been maintained and updated accordingly.
• Prepare and provide daily loading list.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling customer service team’s inquiries and ensure to comply with operation procedures.
