TMK Chemical Bhd. in Kuching invites an Operations Engineer/Executive to oversee warehouse planning, coordination, and safety, ensuring timely stocking, receiving, storage and distribution.

Based in Sejingkat, Kuching, this role leads a team, manages overtime, coordinates with departments for material shipments, performs monthly stock takes and maintains compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry / Science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in related field.
• Willing to be based in warehouse and Sarawak permanently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute warehouse operations and safety.
• Manage receiving, storage, distribution and repacking activities.
• Lead a team of subordinates and plan overtime for warehouse productivity.
• Coordinate with departments for raw material shipment and product availability to quality issues.
• Perform monthly stock takes and verify warehouse operation documents.

Job description

Operations Engineer / Operations Executive (Based in Sejingkat, Kuching)

Responsible for effective planning, coordination, and execution of warehouse operations and safety.

Involve in all areas of logistics, receiving, storage, distribution, and repacking.

To control operational activity to ensure the department’s workload is undertaken in an efficient, productive, and timely manner.

Daily upkeep, maintenance, housekeeping and monitor the safety of the warehouse and surrounding.

Manage and lead a group of subordinates to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Planning and manage subordinate’s overtime.

Coordinate with respective departments or agencies for raw material shipment and product availability to quality issues.

Manage arrangements and performing on monthly stock take.

Verifications on all warehouse operations documents.

Establish good working relationship with authorities and other related government offices.

Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Superior & Management.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemistry / Science or equivalent.

At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Possess hands‑on experience and willing to be based in warehouse.

Preferable candidates who located in Sarawak permanently.

Possess good track records in warehousing / logistics / supply chain management / operations.

Experience in chemical industry / manufacturing / distribution environment would be added advantage.

Experience in chemical handling / candidate who attended Management of Hazardous Substance is an added advantage.

Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

Possess good analytical & problem‑solving skills.
