Job summary

Best Global Logistics Technology Malaysia is seeking an Operations Support professional to ensure smooth daily warehouse and distribution center activities in line with SOPs. You will coordinate resources, investigate issues, and provide timely on-site support to adjacent teams.

The candidate should have a diploma or bachelor’s in logistics, SCM, or related fields, with 2–5 years in logistics or operations. Proficiency in Excel is required; Power BI/Tableau is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, SCM, industrial engineering, or business analytics.
• 2–5 years in logistics, warehousing, express delivery, operations support, quality control, or data analysis.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, DC and transportation operations with data analysis skills.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF). Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Operations Support role supporting daily warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure smooth execution of operational activities in accordance with standard operating procedures, and coordinating the resolution of operational issues.

Key responsibilities

Support daily warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure smooth execution of operational activities in accordance with standard operating procedures, and coordinate the resolution of operational issues.

Work closely with on-site operations teams to understand operational needs, coordinate resources, and support the efficient execution of daily operations.

Support investigations into operational issues, quality concerns, and customer complaints by collecting operational data and site information, and assist relevant teams in implementing corrective actions.

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc operational reports to provide management and business teams with timely operational insights.

Coordinate with Operations, Transportation, Planning, Customer Service, Human Resources, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

Perform other operational support duties as assigned and provide timely on-site support based on business requirements.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. Relevant operations or quality control experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, express delivery, operations support, quality control, or data analysis.

Strong understanding of warehouse, distribution center, and transportation operations, with the ability to analyze operational data, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, and Power Query). Experience with Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.

Strong communication, coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to independently drive operational improvement initiatives.

Responsible, detail-oriented, and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a continuous improvement mindset.
