Job summary

Goldtex Exim Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Operations/Supply Chain Assistant to support daily operations and administrative tasks, coordinating documentation, orders, deliveries and inventory records while maintaining clear communication across departments and with customers.

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and help resolve delivery issues, stock discrepancies and data entry in the accounting system, with SQL/Autocount accounting

Qualifications

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Detail-oriented and well organized, with ability to meet deadlines.
• Willing to learn and handle various administrative tasks.
• Experience in SQL/Autocount Accounting will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the Supply Chain and Operations Department.
• Coordinate and follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and stock availability.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, warehouse, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and maintain documents such as purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, stock records, and shipment documents.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock movement and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding deliveries.
• Assist in processing and updating data in the company’s accounting system.
• Ensure all operational and supply chain records are accurate and properly maintained.
• Assist in resolving issues related to deliveries, stock discrepancies, and supplier/customer enquiries.
• Prepare reports and provide administrative support for the Supply Chain and Operations team.

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and organised Operation/Supply Chain Assistant to support our daily operations and administrative activities. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating documentation, orders, deliveries, inventory records and communication between internal departments and customers.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the daily operations of the Supply Chain and Operations Department.

Coordinate and follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and stock availability.

Liaise with suppliers, customers, warehouse, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Prepare and maintain documents such as purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, stock records, and shipment documents.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock movement and inventory reconciliation.
