Job summary

Pro Life Medical Supplies Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead Warehouse, Packing, Logistics, Servicing and Repairing teams toward GDPMD and ISO 13485 compliance in a growing company.

You will drive KPIs, improve processes, ensure safe and accurate daily operations, and mentor long‑tenured staff while collaborating with Sales and QA/RA to deliver high‑quality medical products to hospitals, clinics and end customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in regulated/manufacturing (medical device or pharma) environments.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop teams.
• Experience balancing process discipline with practical, people‑oriented communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Warehouse, Packing, Logistics, Servicing and Repairing operations to meet GDPMD & ISO 13485 requirements.
• Set and monitor KPIs, productivity and service performance.
• Ensure accurate stock level, inventory accuracy and timely repair/service turnaround.
• Develop and implement SOPs, GDPMD, ISO 13485 workflows and related systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, QA/RA and other departments to ensure operations alignment.
• Mentor long‑tenured staff and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Job description

We are a growing company currently strengthening our operations as we work toward GDPMD & ISO 13485 Standard. As we build a more structured, high-performing operations function, we are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Operations Manager to lead our Warehouse, Packing, Logistics, Servicing and Repairing teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring our daily operations run efficiently, accurately, safely and with a strong customer focus, while developing our people and improving our systems. You will be joining a team with deep institutional knowledge — many with 5–10+ years at the company — so the ability to earn trust and lead through influence, not just authority, matters as much as operational expertise.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage Warehouse, Packing, Logistics, Servicing & Repairing operations to fulfil GDPMD & ISO 13485 requirements — documentation, process controls, and quality workflows — in close coordination with the quality/regulatory team.

Set and monitor departmental KPIs, productivity and service performance

Ensure timely delivery, accurate stock level, inventory accuracy and efficient repair/service turnaround

Implement and improve SOPs, GDPMD, ISO 13485 workflows and operational systems

Problem solving and work towards elevating the overall performance of the whole operation team function

Manage manpower, performance, training and team development

Support and mentor long‑tenured team members through the transition, respecting their experience while introducing new ways of working

Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, QA/RA and other departments

Support the company's GDPMD & ISO 13485 implementation and ensure operational compliance with SOPs and QMS requirements

Resolve operational issues and customer complaints promptly, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence

Skills & Competence Needed

Proven experience in operations management, ideally in a regulated or manufacturing environment (medical device, pharma, or similar a strong plus)

Strong experience in warehouse, logistics and/or technical/service operations.

Strong people leadership skills — someone who can earn credibility with an experienced team rather than simply direct it

Comfortable balancing structure and process discipline with practical, people‑first communication

KPI and SOP-driven mindset.

Experience with GDPMD / ISO 13485 / QMS is a strong advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Responsible, proactive and willing to take ownership.
