Job summary

Esteem Energy Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Executive to lead and coordinate site operations focusing on Electrical & Instrumentation, ensuring projects run safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will oversee technical and contract activities, drive business development, and manage teams across multiple branches while liaising with key clients such as PETRONAS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation, or related field.
• 7+ years in Oil & Gas, preferably in E&I.
• Operations, project management, sales/business development or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and people management across multiple locations.
• Experience with PETRONAS or major O&G clients is a plus.
• Willing to travel; based in Kemaman, Terengganu.
• Immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Report to Site Director and coordinate site operations.

• Lead and support Branch Managers in Central, Northern and Southern regions.
• Develop team members, ensure performance and accountability.

• Ensure safety, efficiency, and schedule adherence per client requirements.
• Maintain relationships with PETRONAS, contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to management on operations and sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting duty to Site Director of the company
• Oversee and coordinate the company’s overall operations focusing on Site Technical and Cost & Contract department to ensure smooth execution across teams.
• Lead, monitor and support Branch Managers in Central, Northern and Southern region
• Manage and develop team members, ensuring strong performance, accountability and effective manpower coordination.
• Drive sales and business development activities, identify new opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Coordinate E&I projects and operational requirements within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Work closely with management and branch teams to achieve operational and commercial targets.
• Ensure projects and operations are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule and according to client requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with PETRONAS, contractors, clients and other industry stakeholders.
• Provide regular operational, sales and performance updates to management.
• Ensure compliance of team with policies and best practices of company

REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation, or related field
• Minimum 7 year’s working experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably within Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I).
• Experience in operations, project management, sales/business development or a related leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills — able to lead, motivate and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Good understanding of Oil & Gas project requirements and industry practices.
• Experience dealing with PETRONAS and/or major Oil & Gas clients will be a strong advantage.
• Commercially driven with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willing to travel to branches/project locations when required.
• Able to be based in Kemaman, Terengganu
• Need to report duty with immediate effect
