Job summary

Swisslog is looking for a System Operation Engineer - RAPID in Malaysia to provide onsite software support after project implementation. The role requires maintaining service levels, restoring operations quickly, and ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.

You will liaise between customers and the Level 2 back-office team in Malaysia, assist with commissioning, and log incidents in CMMS while troubleshooting to resolve issues on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Java.
• Able to work independently under pressure, including overtime and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite software support after project implementation.
• Deliver support per agreed service levels and restore operations quickly.
• Act as primary liaison between customers and Level 2 back-office support in Malaysia.
• Assist with system commissioning and deployment during project phases.
• Record and track incidents in the CMMS system accurately.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and resolve issues before escalation.
• Perform regular onsite system inspections and maintenance for reliability.
• Maintain safety compliance and follow procedures and standards.
