Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Malaysia is seeking an IT Support specialist to provide software and hardware help in the plant, assist engineers in uptime, and support end users with Oracle, Okta, Email, CrowdStrike, and MES shop floor systems.

The role is 100% onsite with rotating 12-hour shifts; the ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Studies or related field and at least two years of relevant experience in hardware/software support, ticketing, and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies or related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience using a ticketing system and meeting SLA/first response targets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Software and Hardware support in the plant
• Assist engineers in maintaining system uptime and timely resolution & escalation of problems
• Provide support to end users in maintaining IT developed system and corporate system (Oracle, Okta, Email, CrowdStrike, etc)
• Provide MES shop floor system support
