Job summary

SICK SDN BHD in Malaysia (JB base) is seeking a Service Engineer– System Solutions to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot integrated systems at client sites. You will apply strong technical skills to keep equipment running reliably and to address root causes with urgency and professionalism.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics or Mechatronics, 2 years of service or technical support experience, willingness to travel, and the ability to work on-site and remotely

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in service or technical support; fresh graduates considered.
• Experience in system integration for manufacturing, logistics, or IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with robotics, motion control, or vision systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission integrated system solutions at customer sites.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for troubleshooting and fault resolution.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize system uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Train end-users and develop service reports.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to offer service enhancements or upgrades.
• Respond to customer needs with urgency, including after-hours support.
