Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an L1 IT Support specialist to provide onsite technical assistance for end users in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers hardware, software, and basic network tasks, with a strong focus on Windows OS troubleshooting, printers, and drivers to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

You will perform new joiner deployment, set up laptops and accounts, troubleshoot OS issues, support printers, and escalate complex problems to L2/L3.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year of experience in IT onsite, desktop or service desk support.
• Hands-on with new joiner deployment and IT equipment setup.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and configuration.
• Experience troubleshooting printers, drivers and printing issues.
• Basic networking concepts: LAN, Wi‑Fi, IP, DNS, VPN.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and provide onsite support.
• Microsoft 365 / Active Directory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 onsite IT support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Perform new joiner IT deployment, setting up laptops, accounts and software.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS issues including configuration and performance.
• Support printers and printing-related issues, including drivers.
• Install and maintain IT peripherals; manage assets and records.
• Handle basic network troubleshooting: Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support as needed.
• Maintain accurate incident and asset records; provide timely onsite support.
