Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated L1 IT Support professional to provide onsite technical assistance to end users and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in onsite IT support, new joiner deployment, OS troubleshooting, and printer support.

Key responsibilities include delivering Level 1 onsite support, setting up devices and accounts for new joiners, resolving Windows OS issues, and ensuring printers and network connectivity run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year of experience in IT onsite support, desktop support, or service desk support.
• Hands-on experience with new joiner deployment and IT equipment setup.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and configuration.
• Experience troubleshooting printers, drivers, and printing issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP, DNS, and VPN.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and provide onsite support to users.
• Candidates with Microsoft 365 / Active Directory support experience will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 onsite IT support to end users for hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.
• Perform new joiner IT deployment, including setting up laptops/desktops, user accounts, software, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS and operating system-level issues, including system errors, software installation, configuration, and performance issues.
• Provide support for printers and printing-related issues, including printer setup, connectivity, driver installation, and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Handle basic troubleshooting for network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, and other common end-user IT issues.
• Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to the appropriate L2/L3 support team.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, IT assets, and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist with IT asset management, equipment deployment, collection, and replacement.
• Provide professional and timely technical support to users onsite.
