Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan & Perundingcara Bright Prospect Sdn Bhd is seeking an onsite L1–L1.5 IT support professional to serve as the first contact for 200+ users in Malaysia. You will troubleshoot Windows 10/11, laptops, desktops, hardware, peripherals and connectivity issues, and support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook and Teams.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Helpdesk, EUC, Technical Support or IT Site Support.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
Good troubleshooting skills in laptops, desktops, hardware, software and peripherals.
Experience in onsite/face-to-face end-user support is highly preferred.
Basic knowledge of network, Wi-Fi and VPN troubleshooting.
Experience supporting iPhone/iPad and iOS devices is an advantage.
Knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, Intune, device enrollment or Windows Autopilot is an advantage.
ServiceNow / ITIL experience is preferred, but training can be provided.
Experience with meeting room, webcam, presentation or basic AV support is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, customer service and communication skills.
Able to identify issues, resolve L1–L1.5 problems and escalate appropriately to L2/L3 teams.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on onsite L1–L1.5 IT support for 200+ users.
Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, laptops, desktops, hardware, peripherals, software and connectivity issues.
Support Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and other workplace apps.
Provide basic support for iPhone/iPad and iOS devices.
Troubleshoot basic network, Wi-Fi and VPN issues; escalate complex infra problems.
Assist with user access and application issues, including SAP troubleshooting and escalation.
Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow and follow IT service processes.
Perform IMAC, device setup, replacement, deployment and IT asset support.
Support meeting rooms, townhalls, training sessions and events; basic AV setup/troubleshooting.
Coordinate with regional IT teams, vendors and SMEs for resolution.
Participate in IT projects and equipment deployment/replacement.
Occasional after-hours/weekend onsite support and outstation travel when required.
Maintain documentation of incidents, troubleshooting and resolutions.
