Job summary

Starbpo is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver desktop and network support in Johor Bahru. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows PCs, printers, and business software while maintaining security patches and backups.

You will handle end-user issues, manage accounts, and assist with network connectivity and VPN access. This full-time, on-site role requires 2–3 years of hands-on IT support experience, good communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, network support, or IT infrastructure support.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn may also be considered.
• Practical experience supporting Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience configuring or troubleshooting switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with remote support tools, endpoint security solutions, and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage network connectivity including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN basics.
• Assist with IT operations, incident management, and documentation.
• Ensure security updates, antivirus, patches, and backup/recovery are performed.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and asset tracking with proper change records.
