Job summary

Teleperformance Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a technically skilled IT professional to deliver end-user support and maintain desktop infrastructure. The role covers troubleshooting desktops, printers, and peripherals, configuring OS and software, and ensuring secure, reliable IT operations for business activities.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years in desktop support, strong Windows and Office knowledge, and solid communication skills to assist users with varying technical backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with user account management and Active Directory is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and LAN/Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to support users with varied technical backgrounds.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise issues based on urgency and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues promptly.
• Set up user accounts, manage access, and configure systems per business needs.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including device setup and deployment.
• Monitor and maintain desktop systems for performance, security, and reliability.
• Assist with software installation, updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity (LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN) issues.
• Document incidents, resolutions, IT assets, and procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Provide guidance and technical support to end users to improve IT experience.
