Job summary

I CONTROLS SOLUTION (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Coordinator in Kuala Lumpur to bridge project management, installation teams, and admin. You will ensure site prep, material logistics, and documentation align with project specs.

You will conduct pre-installation visits, plan schedules, coordinate with contractors, and monitor on-site inventory to prevent delays. Strong reading of schematics and Excel tracking are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in site coordination within plumbing, drainage, or similar installations in Malaysia.
• Ability to read technical schematics, isometrics and layouts.
• Strong organizational skills to forecast materials and manage tight schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic drafting with AutoCAD is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-installation site visits to measure dimensions and verify site conditions.
• Assess site readiness and clear roadblocks before deploying the team.
• Report any site discrepancies or hazards to management immediately.
• Coordinate with main contractors or clients on site for progression.
• Plan and update daily/weekly schedules for the installation team.
• Act as on-site primary contact to resolve installation issues.
• Forecast material requirements with installation team and office admin.
• Ensure timely ordering and delivery of pipes, materials, and hardware.
• Monitor on-site material inventory and minimize wastage.
• Prepare and submit all required documentation for approvals before work starts.
