Job summary

COL Engineering in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a site-based Project Coordinator to manage, monitor and control assigned projects, ensuring resources and cost control across sites in Malaysia. The role involves client liaison, site meetings, progress tracking and quality oversight.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of related experience and a diploma or higher, and must be responsible and independent to thrive in a busy construction environment.

Responsibilities

• To manage, monitor and control on assigned projects.
• To perform cost control and minimize wastage for all projects.
• To ensure all project have sufficient resources (manpower, material, machinery, tools and equipment and sub con).
• Cooperate with subordinate in order to monitor material and progress on site.
• To attend to client for proposal, marketing purposes and project matter discussion.
• To attend site meeting and site inspection.
• To monitor and control the quality of work done.
• Liaise with client, main con, consultant, architect, sub con and supplier.
• Ad hoc tasks.
