Job summary

sunrise enviromental solutions sdn.bhd. is seeking a Water Treatment Field Service Engineer (Data Center Cooling) to deliver on-site technical service and optimize cooling water treatment systems for large data centers in Malaysia.

You will conduct regular site inspections, water sampling and quality analysis, resolve issues such as scaling and corrosion, and provide timely after-sales support while maintaining comprehensive service records and complying with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Supply & Drainage, Applied Chemistry or related fields.
• Data-center cooling-water-treatment experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Fluent Chinese (spoken & written) for Chinese-client communication; basic English for local work.
• Hold valid Malaysian driving license and available for site visits across territory.
• Familiarity with cooling-water systems and water-treatment chemicals is an advantage.
• Good customer-service mindset, communication skills and stable work attitude.
• Able to work on-site in data-center environments and follow company technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical service and system optimization for cooling water treatment systems of large data centers in Malaysia.
• Conduct regular site inspections, water sampling and water-quality analysis; resolve issues including scaling, corrosion and microorganism overgrowth.
• Deliver professional water-quality control and optimization solutions to ensure stable and safe operation of data-center cooling systems.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly technical service reports and maintain complete service records.
• Liaise with data-center operation and engineering teams, deliver timely after-sales technical support.
• Support project implementation with the business team and identify potential service upgrade opportunities.
• Comply strictly with site safety rules and standard operating procedures.
