Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Limited in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to manage the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of data center mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors. You will ensure reliability and efficiency while upholding safety standards.

You will lead a technical team, coordinate with shift teams for 24/7 coverage, and drive preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in data center environments.
Experience leading technical teams and 24/7 operations.
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee design, installation, and maintenance of data center mechanical systems.
Lead and mentor assistant engineers and technicians with 24/7 shift coverage.
Coordinate maintenance with vendors to minimize downtime.
Ensure safety, compliance, and documentation.
