Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to configure, install, test, and operate client infrastructure on-site. You will also ensure software is installed per client requirements and provide second-line remote and on-site support to resolve issues.

Role requires a bachelor's degree in IT or computing and certifications in data centre and networking. You will work with Cisco, VoIP, and collaboration tools, often liaising with client environments and vendors to restore

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or computing.
• Professional certifications in data centre technologies and networking (CCNP, etc).
• Experience with collaboration technologies and remote support.

Responsibilities

• Provide second line remote and onsite technical support to clients.
• Liaise with client IT environments, carriers and colleagues to diagnose errors and find resolutions.
• Identify root causes of incidents and follow knowledge articles for troubleshooting.
• Respond to alerts and escalate to higher support when needed.
• Update incidents with progress and resolution details in the ticketing system.
• Follow handover procedures to ensure service continuity during shift changes.
