Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Cross Technology Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-line remote and onsite technical support and field engineering to clients. You will identify and resolve incidents to meet SLA targets while following standard procedures.

The role requires good communication, basic networking knowledge, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with potential longer hours during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certifications in Data Centre technologies (e.g., CCNA DC).
• Networking certifications such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, CCNA/ACMA are advantageous.
• MS Voice and Webex Calling certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line remote and onsite technical support to clients.
• Configure and verify client infrastructure as required and installed software per client specs.
• Log incidents promptly and escalate to L2 when needed.
• Liaise with client IT and vendors to expedite issue resolution.
• Adhere to handover procedures to ensure service continuity.
