Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Cross Technology Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-line remote and onsite technical support, install and configure infrastructure and software, and ensure incidents are resolved to meet SLA targets.

You will log and track issues, liaise with clients and vendors, and work in a hybrid environment that values proactive problem solving, clear communication, and excellent customer experience across the full service journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in Data Centre technologies such as Cisco, NetApp, EMC (DC) etc.
• Associate level certification in Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.
• Collaboration certifications such as CCNA Certification; Microsoft Voice certification (MS700 & MS720) advantageous; Webex Calling advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line remote and onsite technical support to clients.
• Provide first line field engineering services to clients.
• Configure, install and test client infrastructure in line with requirements.
• Log incidents, follow up and escalate to L2 when needed.
• Coordinate with clients, carriers and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Maintain timely updates on incidents and resolutions.
