Job summary

EIL Global in Penang, Malaysia seeks an on-call Dispatch Support technician with 3+ years in AV/IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot AV systems, support video conferencing, and handle on-site setup, maintenance, and occasional replacements. You’ll interact with clients, vendors, and remote teams to ensure smooth operations.

This role is not full-time and compensation is based on actual hours worked, reflecting a flexible on-call schedule and project-based workload.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AV / IT Infrastructure / EUC Support.
• Hands-on AV troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Dante, Logitech, Poly, Cisco, etc. is an advantage.
• Basic networking and cabling knowledge.
• Good English communication skills.
• Customer-facing and professional approach.
• Ability to work independently onsite.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot AV and meeting room equipment.
• Support Teams/Video Conferencing, microphones, speakers, displays, and projectors.
• Perform AV setup, break/fix, and equipment replacement.
• Provide onsite event and meeting support.
• Perform basic network, cabling, and infrastructure smart hands activities.
• Support laptops, desktops, and other end-user devices.
• Coordinate with remote teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Update tickets and provide onsite visit reports.
