Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Assistant (Audio & Visual) to manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV systems for meetings, hybrid sessions, live streaming, and recording activities.

The role includes troubleshooting AV issues, maintaining equipment inventories, supporting end-users, coordinating with external vendors, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure reliable AV services across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Must have formal education in IT/Multimedia/AV or a related field.
• Familiar with AV hardware including projectors, LED displays, audio mixers, cameras, and wireless microphones.
• Proficient with video conferencing platforms and basic room automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for meetings, conferences, and events.
• Provide on-site AV support for hybrid meetings, live streaming, and video recording.
• Troubleshoot AV issues and perform basic fault finding to minimise disruptions.
• Maintain AV equipment inventory records and coordinate with vendors for servicing.
• Deliver user guidance and training on AV systems and meeting room technology.
