Job summary

Teleport in Sepang, Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Logistics Coordinator to support real-time network monitoring and incident recovery. You will coordinate across Ramp, Customs, and Cargo Operations, with focus on data accuracy and prompt communication.

Ideal candidates have a diploma or degree in logistics or related fields, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 shift environment. This role offers growth within a dynamic logistics team.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; logistics coordination or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of flight tracking tools and logistics milestones.
• Data entry and clear communication skills are essential.
• Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, Aviation Management, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Real-Time Network Flow across the Teleport Core systems to ensure on-time operations.
• Execute Routine Incident Recovery following SOPs and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Coordinate Multi-Point Communication with Ramp, Customs, and Cargo Operations teams.
• Perform System Data Entry to update timestamps and incident logs for NCC data integrity.
• Maintain Operational Watch by flagging bottlenecks and safety hazards in real time.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• Monitor Real-Time Network Flow: Track flight movements, cargo milestones, and ground activities across the network using Teleport Core systems to ensure everything is moving according to plan.
• Execute Routine Incident Recovery: Follow established SOPs to resolve simple, recurring operational issues (e.g., flight delays or cargo misroutings) and elevate complex disruptions to senior team members.
• Coordinate Multi-Point Communication: Provide clear, factual updates to Ramp, Customs, and Cargo Operations teams regarding immediate network changes or priorities.
• Perform System Data Entry: Accurately capture and update operational timestamps and incident logs in JIRA and Teleport Core to ensure data integrity for the entire NCC.
• Maintain Operational Watch: Identify and flag potential bottlenecks or safety hazards in real‑time, ensuring that the "source of truth" regarding network status is always current.

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Experience: Entry‑level role; prior experience in logistics coordination, customer service, or a fast‑paced operational environment is an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of flight tracking tools, logistics milestones, and proficiency in data entry and communication platforms (e.g., Slack, JIRA).
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to process information quickly under pressure, and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
