Responsibilities

• End-to-End Hub Management: oversee daily operations including inbound receiving, sorting, staging, and outbound processing.
• Performance & Timeline Monitoring: track shipment flow, volumes, and team productivity to meet timelines.
• Exception Management: monitor and resolve shipment issues and Yellow Tickets.
• Data & System Accuracy: ensure accurate scanning, status updates and reporting.
• Resource Planning: support daily manpower planning and coverage based on volumes.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: act as the operational bridge between teams and stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: identify gaps and implement data-driven improvements to productivity.

A DAY IN LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• End-to-End Hub Management: Oversee daily operations, including inbound receiving, sorting, staging, and outbound processing while ensuring proper storage, segregation, and housekeeping.

• Performance & Timeline Monitoring: Track end-to-end shipment flow, daily volumes, and team productivity to ensure all tasks meet required operational timelines.

• Exception Management: Monitor and resolve shipment issues (missing parcels, discrepancies, incorrect statuses, failed handovers, RTS cases) and ensure timely resolution of “Yellow Tickets”.

• Data & System Accuracy: Ensure accurate scanning, status updates, and tracking number management within the operational system. Prepare and maintain daily operational and tracking reports.

• Resource Planning: Support daily manpower planning, task allocation, and operational coverage based on fluctuating shipment volumes.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the operational bridge between Customer Excellence, Customs, country teams, and external stakeholders via email, systems, and Workvivo chats.

• Process Optimization: Identify operational gaps on the floor and implement data-driven improvements to boost productivity.

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Thrives in a Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to adapt, make quick decisions, and maintain composure in a high-volume, time-sensitive logistics setting.

• Expert Problem Solver: A natural fixer who can swiftly identify the root cause of shipment discrepancies or bottlenecks and coordinate with multiple teams to solve them.

• Strong Excel Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data visualization) to manage tracking records, analyze shipment data, and generate operational reports.

• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly across cross-functional teams and operational staff.
