Malaysian Institute of Art in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Reception/Administration Assistant to handle calls, greet visitors, and assist with course inquiries. The role supports events and general administrative tasks, including writing articles as needed.
Fresh graduates with a Diploma in Administration or related field are welcome, with preference for those familiar with the education sector; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills are required, Mandarin speakers preferred.
To answer telephone calls and respond to queries on the phone.
Welcome visitors at the Reception counter.
Assist in course inquiries as and when required.
To assist in events organized by the Institute, especially at MIACC.
To handle general administrative work and clerical duties, especially assisting Deputy CEO.
To write articles or news report as and when required.
Other duties assigned by the Institute from time to time.
Requirements:Candidates must possess a Diploma in Administration or any field. However, fresh graduates may also apply.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in education industry.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software like Word and Excel is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate comfortably with students and parents in a courteous and professional manner.
Must be courteous with pleasantand good telephone etiquette.
Able to work in a team and requires minimum supervision.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.
