Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or transportation operations.
• Experience handling Air Freight and/or Sea Freight operations.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures, freight documentation, customs requirements, and international shipping processes.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, agents, customers, and logistics service providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end Air, Sea, Neutral, Cross-Trade, and Project Cargo shipments.
• Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, warehouses, and overseas agents.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely movement and adherence to customer requirements.
• Prepare shipping documents including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, permits, invoices, packing lists, and customs docs.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas partners, customs brokers, and service providers.
• Track shipment milestones and provide timely status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Resolve operational issues, delays, and service disruptions professionally.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate shipment processing and service delivery.
• Assist in handling project cargo movements and specialized logistics requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, company policies, and procedures.
• Support Control Tower 24/7 for time-critical shipments and participate in duty rotations.
• Be on call during off-duty hours to ensure operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Freight Operations

Coordinate and manage end-to-end Air Freight, Sea Freight, Neutral Freight, Cross-Trade, and Project Cargo shipments.

Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, warehouses, and overseas agents.

Monitor shipments to ensure timely movement of cargo and adherence to customer requirements.

Prepare, verify, and process shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, permits, invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.

Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas partners, customs brokers, and service providers to facilitate smooth freight operations.

Track shipment milestones and provide timely status updates to customers and stakeholders.

Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and service disruptions professionally and efficiently.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate shipment processing and service delivery.

Assist in handling project cargo movements and specialized logistics requirements.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operational activities.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.

Support Control Tower 24/7 for time-critical shipments including participate in duty rotations within the Control Tower, ensuring seamless customer operations.

Be available on call during off-duty hours to ensure operational continuity.

Maintain confidentiality of all work-related information, with immediate dismissal as a consequence of any integrity breaches.

Carry out any additional duties as may be required for a role of this level, or upon instructions from the management.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or transportation operations.

Experience handling Air Freight and/or Sea Freight operations.
