Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group (BAT) is seeking an NPI Executive in Selangor, Malaysia to support system readiness and delivery within New Product Introduction. This role reports to the Regional NPI Capability Manager and spans APMEA plus Global Travel Retail, with frequent cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Project Management, Product Data Management, Analytics, Planning, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
• Strong technical proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and the ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and project optimization.
• Demonstrates ownership with ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Solid analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills; communicates complex information clearly.
• Excellent organizational and collaborator management capabilities with attention to detail and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end product and material code creation for new product launches across entities.
• Monitor system readiness activities including code creation, recipe readiness, product costing and data quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and external partners to resolve bottlenecks and ensure project milestones are met.
• Develop project plans for simple to moderate scope; monitor schedules, costs, risks and deliverables.
• Maintain governance and communications through meetings, records management and regular updates to stakeholders.
