Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced NPI Lead / MSAT System Engineer to drive design for manufacturability and mass production of mechanical and mechatronics assemblies, PCAs, and modules.

You will coordinate between R&D, Quality and Manufacturing to translate product innovation into scalable, high-performance products. The role requires 8+ years in engineering, strong English communication, and proven project management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years experience in a comparable engineering role.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Proven project management and organizational skills in cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of complex technical systems and development/manufacturing processes.
Experience with technical drawings and CAD tools.
Experience in PCBA design, manufacturing and qualification.
Knowledge of FMEA, DoE, DfX, VE or similar methods.

Responsibilities

Own critical mechanical and/or mechatronic assemblies, PCAs, modules, and complete products within the MSAT platform team.
Work with R&D, Global Manufacturing, Product Marketing, Global Supply Chain, QSAT and other engineering groups.
Serve as central Operations point of contact for NPI projects, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
Transfer new products from development into mass production; lead prototype ramp and reliability validation.
Apply Design-for-Excellence (DfX) principles to quality, cost, manufacturability, and automation.
