Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Penang is seeking an NPI Lead / MSAT System Engineer to optimize design and manufacturing of mechanical/mechatronic assemblies, PCAs, modules and products. You will bridge R&D, Quality and Manufacturing, driving industrialization, tech transfer and platform standardization on a global stage.

You will lead prototype ramp, reliability validation and launch readiness, while applying DfX across cost, manufacturability and automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of experience in a comparable engineering role.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Proven project management and organizational skills in cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of complex technical systems and manufacturing processes.
Experience with CAD tools and PCBA design, manufacturing and qualification.
Knowledge of FMEA, DoE, DfX or Value Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

Act as central Global Operations technical interface in NPI, coordinating stakeholders.
Lead transfer of new products from development into mass/serial production.
Apply DfX principles to quality, cost, manufacturability, assembly, and automation in NPI.
Collaborate with R&D on product development, validation and manufacturability readiness.
Own mechanical and/or mechatronic assemblies and PCAs within MSAT platform.
Lead cross-functional project teams to transfer products into production.
