Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang, Malaysia seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead new product introductions and coordinate manufacturing transitions. You will work across supply chain, R&D, and procurement to ensure products meet cost, quality, and delivery targets while driving process improvements.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and at least 5 years in wireless/telecom product manufacturing, with a solid grasp of product lifecycle and NPI processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in wireless or telecom product manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of product life cycle and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead or actively participate in new product introduction, ensuring manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain.
• Support and implement the transition of products from prototype to full production and through the product life cycle.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning and other supply chain teams to improve products and processes.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors or contract manufacturers to meet deliverables and business objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers to achieve goals for cost, quality and delivery of parts and materials; may manage ERP data like BOM and routing.
• Work with NPI and R&D to ensure DFX Scorecard targets are met before and after SHP checkpoint.
• Lead New Product Introduction and product transfer from other locations into Penang.
• May integrate newly acquired company into Keysight’s manufacturing environment.
• Translate broad concepts into structured projects; solve complex design and development problems.
