Job summary

Agilent Technologies LDA Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced NPI Lead / MSAT System Engineer to drive optimized design and manufacturing of mechanical and mechatronic assemblies, PCAs, and modules at our Penang site.

You will bridge R&D, Quality and Manufacturing, guiding technology transfer and platform standardization for scalable production. The role requires 8+ years in engineering, strong English communication, and a track record in PCBA design and DFx methods.

Qualifications

8+ years in a comparable engineering role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical engineering.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Experience with PCBA design, manufacturing and qualification processes.
Knowledge of FMEA/DoE/DfX or VE is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own mechanical/mechatronic assemblies, PCAs, modules, and products within the MSAT platform.
Lead NPI projects, transfer from development to mass production, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
Apply Design-for-Excellence across cost, manufacturability, quality, and automation.
Lead root-cause investigations and define qualification strategies for new improvements.
Champion scalable manufacturing architectures and platform standards.
