Job summary

Beutea Malaysia is seeking a Head of Operations to oversee daily outlet activities across Johor Bahru, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to SOPs, and exceptional customer experience.

The role leads outlet management teams, manages budgets, and drives profitability while coordinating marketing efforts and new outlet openings. Travel across outlets is required; degree in hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of F&B operations experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial or multi-outlet role.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills; ability to drive P&L, cost controls, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outlet operations to ensure smooth workflow, efficiency, and cross-outlet consistency.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operating standards.
• Monitor service quality, food/beverage presentation, and overall customer experience.
• Oversee outlet maintenance, equipment servicing, and manage relationships with external vendors/contractors to minimize downtime.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise outlet management teams (e.g., Outlet Managers, Supervisors, Tea Baristas).
• Oversee manpower planning, optimize labour deployment, and approve master staff schedules to minimize overtime.
• Conduct performance evaluations, implement succession planning, and provide coaching/disciplinary actions.
• Foster a positive working culture to drive staff retention and engagement.
• Manage budgets, sales targets, and cost controls (GP margins, food/ingredient, and labor costs).
• Analyze daily/monthly sales reports, P&L statements, and implement data-driven strategies to improve profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels, supply chain purchasing, and enforce wastage control measures.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and drive revenue growth.
• Support marketing campaigns, localized promotions, and new menu/product launches.
• Lead and coordinate new outlet openings (NROs) from setup to launch operations.
