Job summary

FlexiTalent China is seeking a Malaysia Category Manager – MRO Industrials (Asia Pacific) to own procurement and sales across general industrial supplies, tools, PPE and chemicals in Malaysia. You will manage full lifecycle procurement, supplier development, negotiations and contracts, and oversee inventory turnover while targeting revenue and gross profit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of full-cycle MRO industrial product procurement and sales experience.
• In-depth expertise in at least one category: general industrial supplies, tools, PPE or industrial chemicals.
• Experience in industrial product procurement and B2B sales in Southeast Asia or Malaysia preferred.
• Fluent in Chinese and business English; able to negotiate with suppliers and clients in English.
• Familiar with local industrial product channels, import customs clearance and tax compliance in Malaysia; skilled in supplier negotiation, cost accounting and inventory planning.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of MRO category procurement and sales in Malaysia across general industrial supplies, tools, PPE and industrial chemicals.
• Oversee supplier development, business negotiation, contract signing and inventory turnover management.
• Engage with local and Chinese manufacturing factory clients to identify centralised procurement demands and deliver revenue/gross profit targets.
• Conduct market research on local industrial product prices and competitor channels to optimise cross-border and local procurement.
• Prepare reports on inventory, sales revenue and gross profit and collaborate with warehousing and logistics teams to ensure delivery.
